Whisper – Friday Fictioneers

Every Wednesday we get a new picture prompt for the Friday Fictioneers, a writing challenge graciously hosted by  Rochelle Wisoff-Fields.
The task of the challenge is to write a story: beginning, middle, and end, in 100 words or less. You can find all the Fictioneers’ stories when you click on the Froggy. Please read, comment, and if you like, join the fun. Everyone is welcome.broken-face-liz

Claire woke up to the sound of doorbell. She still felt wobbly from the drinks she had earlier that night. She walked to the door and opened it, only to find out that there was no one outside.

As she was about to close the door, her eyes went down and she couldn’t believe what she saw

“But I threw it away… How can this be possible..”

Suddenly wind blew her hair off her face and she saw a blurry figure of a woman and heard a whisper…

“Don’t throw your garbage in front of my tree”
