Every Wednesday we get a new picture prompt for the Friday Fictioneers, a writing challenge graciously hosted by Rochelle Wisoff-Fields.
The task of the challenge is to write a story: beginning, middle, and end, in 100 words or less. Please read, comment, and if you like, join the fun.
It was the first time I saw snow. The place was unknown yet it felt familiar. It felt like I always belonged there.
“Isn’t this beautiful? Have you been to any place more divine than this?” – I asked Raghav.
He looked into my eyes for few seconds and answered – “My home is more beautiful than this.”
“Oh where is it?” – I asked curiously.
“You are it” – Raghav said.
It was the place or his words, I am not sure but everything felt just perfect. As if I was always waiting for this. Even I found my “Home”.
Dear Vaidehi,
Beautiful sentiment. Very nice dialogue that tells the story. Welcome to Friday Fictioneers.
Shalom,
Rochelle

That’s how it begins, Vaidehi. I started almost 5 years ago as one of the gang and ended up running the show. π
Shalom,

Oh, that is so sweet! This was told in just the perfect understated way to let the strength of his answer have that much more impact.
